The Highlights of Version 4

Translation Management

You can now manage multilingual documentation in a single project. Shared resources are automatically reused, and language-specific media is supported with intelligent fallback. Learn more on the Translation Management page.

AI Integration

Use your own API keys from OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google directly in the editor. The AI understands AsciiDoc syntax, so formatting stays intact. All details are on the AI Integration page.

PDF/UA Export

A single attribute is all it takes to export fully tagged PDFs compliant with ISO 14289. That covers the requirements of the European Accessibility Act without any external tools. Read more about the PDF/UA Export and our 2026 study on PDF/UA compliance in DACH industry – not one of 62 audited industry documents passes the standard.

Static Site Generator

With one click your documentation project becomes a professional website. No build tools, no external generators, no npm dependencies. See how it works on the Static Site Generator page.

More Improvements

Improved PDF preview in adoc Studio 4

Improved PDF Preview

The PDF preview now shows completed pages immediately, instead of waiting for the entire document to finish rendering. This saves noticeable time when proofreading longer projects.

Move lines and sections via menu command

Move Lines and Sections

Shift individual lines or entire sections directly via Editor › Structure › Move Up / Move Down or the keyboard shortcut ⌃⌘↑ / ⌃⌘↓. No more cutting and pasting to rearrange your content.

Text statistics counter in the Editor menu

Text Statistics Counter (Pro)

Under Editor › Count you’ll find characters with and without markup, words, and paragraphs – for the full document or just the current file. Ideal for commissioned work with strict character limits.

Menu Bar on iPad

Under iPadOS 26, adoc Studio offers the full macOS menu bar on iPad for the first time. All commands from File, Edit, View, Editor, and Preview are available directly on iPad.
